Internships and Volunteer Opportunities:
The Phoenix Theatre simply could not exist without the time and talent of our volunteers and interns! If you are interested in supporting the theater while having fun and meeting new people, we invite you to join the Phoenix as an Intern or a Volunteer!  If you have compatible skills or would like to learn some new ones, you may be interested in one of the following volunteer positions here at the Phoenix Theatre.

Stage management / crew:
The Phoenix is always looking for experienced and reliable stage managers and technical crew.  If you have an interest in Stage Management, Property Master, Back Stage Crew, Light Board Operator or Sound Board Operator for any of our shows, we want to talk to you!

Ushers:
Help us greet our guests and provide them with an exceptional theater experience. Our all-volunteer ushering staff welcomes the public to our onstage auditorium, helps sell concessions, and gets to see the performance!  Our theatre offers first-rate productions featuring new and time-honored comedies.

Box Office:
We often need help taking ticket reservations and selling tickets at the door. This is the first person our guests encounter at the theater, and a friendly, helpful box office assistant will get the evening off on the right note.

Set Construction / Painting:
Lifting, hauling, painting and building skills come in handy if you have experience or a strong interest in helping in the shop.

Education Interns:
Education Interns provide teaching assistance and administrative support to instructors teaching theatre classes and performance programs to students ages 3½ to 21. These internships are ideal for those with an interest in arts education.

PR and Marketing Intern:
This intern facilitates PR and Marketing campaigns for the Phoenix productions, subscriptions and classes.

Fundraising:
Help us plan and execute our fundraising activities throughout the year! You’ll gain valuable experience in event planning, online donation campaigns and grant writing.
